Summary:
Goku is back, now married and has a son, Gohan, but just when things were calm and settled a new threat comes which creates adventures and uncover the truth about Goku's origins as a Saiyan, a near to extinct race. Facing enemies far more powerful then before Goku needs to train harder and reach limits he never even dreamed of since what is at stake is the World itself.

I feel like this was a MAJOR step down from DBZ. This show became too childish and... IDK what to say. It was just disappointing. DB and DBZ are a lot better.

if this was the first anime that I've seen...then I would hate anime
I love DBZ so you should like Kai right....For me the answer is NO, nothing makes this better then the original.
Voices Actors: some are same some are not and the ones that aren't are the worse voice actors that I have herd
Story: of course is the same wait its less with only 98 episodes compare that with Z 291 episodes
Animation: not to much diffident then DBZ, there are a little fix's there
In the end I started to think we didn't they just show DBZ again.
Z has more episodes then Kai and with fillers and the fillers were the funniest (read more)

also let it be noted a blue Mr. Popo on my local channel and after Kai voice actors Dragon Ball games are getting really bad.
If your in a rush to see Dragon Ball Z the you should watch Kai.... (show less)

mhm a chicken that gets raped by a fat jewish man...
This series still could have been revised more. The dialogue is still very simplistic especially during battle when it degenerates into a "I'm better than you are" back and forth taunting. The animation still is full of filler sequences (sequences where all that happens is a character seems to take forever charging up and grunting or switching over to a character that is merely observing a battle). As a result of the insipid dialogue and the filler sequences, what could have been a good story is hamstrung, and the viewer is frustrated by the lack (read more)

first i have to say to all the fucking noobs that say dragonball sucks you are a fucking wanker!!
Dragonball is the beginning of al anime.. bleach naruto they are all little brothers from dragonball...
im happy they dint change alot in dragonball kai it maybe looks awesome but it will only destroy the real storyline..
i have to say there are alot of good anime's running now but this one i will never forget... dragonball maked my eyes spark again:)

i ve watched dbz 9 years ago........so wat ............so wat am i gonna watch the same shit again,,,,,,,,, there no difference between the old one and the new one ..........................but seriously i really hate animes where a guy takes an entire episode to power up and after he powered up, we watch another episode to see how his opponents powers up..................
